Daytona Beach Lawyers Raising Funds for Council on Aging
The law firm of Seitz and Tresher, located in Downtown Daytona Beach for 20+ years, is using social media to raise funds for Council on Aging. For every new Facebook fan, the attorneys will donate $1 to Council on Aging to support senior services in Volusia County (up to $500).
"Thanks to the availability of matching funds and the dedication and business savvy of the agency and its staff, Council on Aging can turn a one-dollar donation into five," said Rick Tresher, a partner in the firm. "Seniors are a priority at Seitz and Tresher, so we are pleased to support senior services in our area through this social media fundraising effort."
Visitors to the Daytona Beach lawyers' Facebook page [http://www.facebook.com/SeitzTresher] will arrive on a special promotion tab, and be invited to 'Like' the page. In return, $1 will be donated to Council on Aging. People will also have the opportunity to share the promotion with their family and friends in order to help raise the total amount.
Since 1967, Council on Aging (COA) has been the go-to resource for more than 10,000 seniors and caregivers in the Volusia County area. Securing services that meet specific needs, navigating eligibility requirements, and finding a qualified, trustworthy provider add new levels of stress to those caring for themselves or a loved one. That’s why COA, the only non-profit and fully licensed agency serving seniors, exists. COA coordinates these crucial services and programs such as Meals on Wheels, Medicare, Medicaid and guardianship. They also manage nine senior activity and dining centers in the area.
The law firm of Seitz and Tresher represents the unfortunate victims of accidents and professional negligence. The attorneys limit their practice exclusively to the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, social security disability and insurance claims. Mr. Seitz is also a certified civil circuit court mediator in the State of Florida.
Attorneys Bill Seitz and Rick Tresher have more than 60 years of combined legal experience. The firm has earned an “AV” rating, the highest rating available for legal ability and ethical standards, from Martindale-Hubbell, the nation’s leading legal directory.
